GALLERY TALKS: PAINTING OPHELIA BY JOHN LENDIS | 6 July

Please join us for a glass of wine at the gallery on Saturday 6 July at 4pm to hear British-Tasmanian artist John Lendis talk about his current exhibition 'Brook: Painting Ophelia; the artist and his muse'.

This is a great opportunity to listen to John discuss the ideas, inspiration and processes behind his current exhibition.  Hear how being an artist in the Cotswolds means becoming part of a long tradition of artists and writers who have examined what it means to be human in this incredible and historical landscape and learn about John's interpretation of Shakespeare's Ophelia and his ongoing involvement with the Pre-Raphaelites. All welcome.

John's talk will form part of the inaugural Moreton Art Weeks, a 2-week festival of visual arts and design which runs fro6 July - 20 July.
